Paramedical Personnel of Maryland
- PPM is the largest private
safety training center in the State of Maryland.
PPM teaches First Aid, CPR, Search and Rescue
classes, and many other EMS and Safety programs.
- PPM also has a Safety Supply
store located at 227 J Gateway Drive in Bel Air,
Maryland. This store stocks Rope Rescue, Search
and Rescue, K9 Search Rescue supplies, and many
other hard to find EMS and Training Supplies at
very low prices.
- I have worked for PPM since I
was a 3 week old puppy. I'm currently the SAR
Dog for the C-Space Team.
- The Central Maryland Urban Search & Rescue Task
Force
- The Central Maryland Urban
Search & Rescue Task Force is a Type I,
70-position disaster response team staffed by
140 individuals. It is composed of Six
components –Search, Rescue, Medical, Hazmat,
Logistics, and Technical. The Task Force is on
3-hour notice to respond to any type of natural
or man-made disaster where people might be
trapped, lost or injured, and is self-sufficient
for at least 72 hours during the initial phase
of the mission.

Inc., (NASAR)
- The National Association for
Search and Rescue, Inc., (NASAR) is a
not-for-profit membership association dedicated
to advancing professional, literary, and
scientific knowledge in fields related to search
and rescue. NASAR is comprised of thousands of
paid and non-paid professionals interested in
all aspects of search and rescue - the
humanitarian cause of saving lives - throughout
the United States and around the world. "...that
others may live."
- NASAR is a great SAR
resource, and I'm a voting member with the
group.
